How to use Advanced Date Range to define a dynamic date range: e.g. "Last 9 Months"
Applying fixed date ranges to a chart is easy: you only need to select the start and end date and you're done.
Apart from this, there are several dynamic date ranges that can be applied to a chart, ranges like Last 7 days, This month to date, Last quarter, etc.
The start and end dates of a dynamic date range will be evaluated automatically at the time the report is accessed by the viewer, ensuring the correct date range is applied.
But what if we need a dynamic date range which is not available by default in Looker Studio?
In such cases, we can use the powerful Advanced Date Range feature, which allows us to select custom dynamic start date and end dates.
In this tip, I'll show you how to use this feature to define a dynamic date range which is not included by default.
